My Blood Pressure is a FREE Windows application that allows you to enter the values you have obtained using a home Blood Pressure monitor.
It is under development and is by no means complete, it designed to teach you how to use it with human voice guidence, it will speak to you in a tone that is friendly and human like, it will explain to you what is required in data entry fields, it will explain to you what a button does by hovering the mouse over the button or any other data entry field, list, dropdown windows, tree views and other.
It is designed to run on a USB memory stick without any installation to your hard drive, it is completely independant of system registery.
It is being developed with the assitance of doctors, pharmacist's nurses, hospitals and other health care specialists, it will, in time, allow transfer of blood pressure observations made in the relaxed environment of the home which produces the type of measurements that are needed to allow a doctor to make beter diagnostic decisions.
This application came about because a Medical Emergency Team (MET) was called when a pressure reading was made that far exceeded the enactment of the emergency protocol at a hospital, I felt absolutely fine but the resources of 9-10 people, doctors, nurses, pathology and orderly's were utilized, these resources should have gone to those that really did need them.
The application will be offered to ALL blood pressure monitor manufacturers to include the application in their package or make available for download from their website, it is also encouraged that it is made available for download from any website that promotes health and well being.
If you download this application please remember that it is under developmen and you WILL encount unexpected bugs but they will NOT interfere with your computer system, you are also encouraged to check the file after download with a virus scan.
